    About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) is a system of central government schools in India, established in 1963. These schools primarily serve children of transferable government employees, including defence personnel. KVs follow the CBSE curriculum, use English as the primary medium of instruction, and are known for their standardized, quality education across India. There are over 1,200 KVs nationwide, providing consistent education for students whose families may relocate frequently due to government postings. While prioritizing government employees’ children, KVs are also open to other students based on seat availability.
The Sangathan is committed to provide not only quality education, but also aims to ensure a holistic enrichment of learners so that they can develop into assets for the nation.
